New year – some good news but sadly some restrictions

Our evening talks, sale, raffle and Christmas donations have together raised over £1800 so we start 2022 in good heart and thank you all so much for supporting our efforts. Plans for our next series of talks in the spring are already underway.

A new year brings new books and we already have the latest titles from Colm Toibin, Elizabeth Strout, Charles Cumming, Denise Mina, Anthony Doerr and many more – not on the shelves yet but they soon will be! Keep an eye on our website and Facebook pages for updates.

Sad to say Covid is still with us, but please be assured we have all the measures in place to keep volunteers and visitors safe. And for those of you who are not able to come in and browse the library shelves right now we are still offering our Order and Collect service. All you need to do is select your books from the catalogue and email your choices to books@pittclic.org.uk and we will take it from there.

Bookbug has had to be cancelled meantime but will be back as soon as restrictions are lifted. Our Books on Wheels service is still available so if you, or someone you know, is having difficulty getting to the library please let us know and we will help.
