Help Out

We have a keen and energetic team of volunteers running the Library and all our extra activities.

There are many ways to help out including becoming a Friend of Pittenweem Library (details below), donating to help us keep the library open and free to use for the Pittenweem and wider East Neuk community, attending our events, and of course borrowing books.

Occasionally we need additional help and new volunteers and when we do we will add a news item to this website and post details on our very active Facebook page – so keep a look out for that.

If you’d like to know more, pop in for a chat with us during opening hours or get in touch.

Friends of Pittenweem Community Library & Information Centre

Would you like to support us by becoming a member of The Friends of Pittenweem Library?

The annual subscription of £15 is based on the average cost of a new book and its protective plastic cover.

All subscriptions will be used exclusively for the purchase of books and DVDs. The names of our benefactors are displayed in the library and on our web page (but you may remain anonymous if you wish).

Please download our application form, which gives all the details you need. And if you are a UK tax payer you can help us further by adding Gift Aid to your contribution which means we get an extra 25p for every £1 at no extra cost to you. If you haven’t already done so, you must complete this Gift Aid Declaration and hand it in, or send it to, the library at the address on the form.

You can also get copies of these forms from the library if you don’t have access to a printer.

Thank you for your support.
