Welcome to the March issue of Pittenweem Post, the monthly newsletter produced by Pittenweem Community Library. We have had a wonderful line up of speakers, with a wide variety of interesting subjects. The final talk of the season is Thursday 28 November when Professor Tony Prave will talk about how the study of Scottish rocks has revolutionised our thinking about the history of the Earth in deep time.
Local artist and author, Caroline Blacker, carved a very special Hallowe'en pumpkin for the winner of our raffle. Caroline's work is amazing and you can see examples of it seen around the town in the days leading up to Hallowe'en, notably in the windows of Bistro Dory.
