The 1,000th member has just joined the Pittenweem Community Library. This major milestone was a cause for celebration for our library chair, Helen Mathers, who presented the lucky joiner, Robyn Melrose, with a book token and a bottle of fizz. Robyn’s daughters, Maisie and Mollie, are already regulars at the library’s Bookbug sessions on Saturdays, so were delighted to join their Mum in the celebrations.
