Hallowe’en Raffle

Local artist and author, Caroline Blacker, carved a very special Hallowe’en pumpkin for the winner of our raffle. Caroline’s work is amazing and you can see examples of it seen around the town in the days leading up to Hallowe’en, notably in the windows of Bistro Dory. Caroline’s designs are planned out in meticulous detail and carved with precision to allow different levels of light through.

Our raffle winner chose a ‘Hallowe’en Scene’ for their pumpkin so Caroline based her carve on the Pittenweem Tollbooth Tower and the graveyard and included a portrait of her beautiful black cat for good measure.

The winner is delighted with the prize and Library is also delighted to have raised £146. Thank you Caroline!
