We are very excited to introduce our Spring 2025 series of talks. Once again we have a fantastic line up of speakers who have kindly agreed to support our Community Library in this way. The line up is:
Talk 1 – 3 April – Lesley Glaister, novelist – Writing the War
Talk 2 – 24 April – Andrew Whitley, baker, food writer and founder of Scotland The Bread – Cereal Offender: stories from the struggle against ultra-processed food
Talk 3 – 8 May – Peter Yeoman, archaeologist and cultural historian – Sick Picts at the May Monastery: evidence for healing, death and burial at the early medieval monastery
Talk 4 – 22 May – Philip Long, Chief Executive of the NTS – The work of the National Trust for Scotland
We’ll publish details of each speaker and talk separately – see up coming posts!
