Spring talks – a great success

We were very fortunate this season in having four wonderful speakers: Will Cresswell, Sam Parsons, Stephen Gethins and Jo Sharp. The hall was full each evening and we raised over £1900 for the library, so a huge thank you to the speakers and to everyone who came along and supported us. Plans for the autumn series are already underway.

Bookbug

There is a Bookbug in the library every Saturday from 9.30 to 10.00 am. Please come along if you are aged between 0 and 4 years and can bring a responsible adult with you! Sessions are free and there is no need to book. Stay after the session to look at our books and play together in the Library.

Scrabble Sessions

Warm Spaces

The library is taking part in the Warm Spaces initiative and we welcome you to come and spend some time in the warmth – we can offer newspapers, magazines, jigsaws, wifi and of course plenty of books to keep you occupied!
